The Show this year was one of the busiest we have attended. No less than 34 members used the qOC discount code which is great. As always at the Show, we also welcomed the new joiners. There is always a big draw to our stand, and this year was no exception with all three cars receiving significant attention from the visitors.
The exhibitors were Martin and Glenn. Martin brought his S1E2 replica which is a real eye-catching, high-performance car with a list of spectacular statistics. He also brought his Group 4 replica.
These are replicas of the cars that helped put the roadgoing quattro on the map and they are really important to help tell the quattro rally story, not just as static exhibits but as live displays at historic rally events.
Glenn’s came with is WR purchased at the NEC auction 2 years ago to the day after some recommissioning, the public loved it being so original.
At the Show we were between the Audi Club and the Audi Owners Club, quite a good idea to have the 3 Clubs together. In fact we were also very close to different VW Clubs with great machinery.
Next is the Practical Classics Restoration Show at the NEC on 20/21/22 March 2026, we have space booked.
Following that, we must look ahead to the Classic Motor Show of 2026 where we will also exhibit some modern quattros. We look forward to seeing you there.
