Looking at the spectators present, there is no doubt that rally cars are very popular indeed. Who doesn’t love the sound of these machines?
We were blessed with excellent weather albeit a bit cold in the morning. Once the sun came out, one could walk around in a short sleeve T-shirt and enjoy an ice cream, not bad for mid-September.
We had a mixture of Urs and modern quattros, all immaculate as always. One Ur came all the way from Newcastle and the other one from Aberystwyth, well done guys. These cars love to be driven, no good standing still in a garage. As always, we all shared our quattro knowledge, it is amazing what you can learn at this type of event. Our technical advisor, Darron, was on hand to give information and advice.
All in all a great day, already looking forward to 2023.
